Ms. Field is well accomplished in commercial strategy in both pharmaceuticals and consumer packaged goods, and has demonstrated the consistent ability to integrate commercial strategy into operational execution for optimal asset decision making. She has worked with over 30 clients in the pharmaceutical industry in numerous therapeutic areas and formulations. In addition, her experience is both in domestic and internal markets with providing critical insights into the decision making trade-offs for global assets. As President of TVG marketing Research and Consulting she developed and led a number of internal structural design initiatives that lead to improved client efficiencies in both the cost and delivery of projects. This resulted in increased client satisfaction and overall company performance. Prior to TVG, Ms. Field held positions with four other research firms including one she founded in 1990. Ms. Field earned her MBA from the University of Cincinnati with a double major in Marketing and Accounting and an undergraduate degree from the same institution in English. Prior to founding Paragon, Dr. Zelnio held tenure-tract faculty appointments with the University of South Carolina and the University of Iowa and adjunct appointments with The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science and The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also practiced pharmacy in hospital and community pharmacies. Dr. Zelnio has authored chapters in textbooks on questionnaire design, multivariate analysis, advertising, and the future of pharmaceutical marketing research. He has published over 40 scholarly articles in journals, including Decision Sciences, The Journal of Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management, Pharmaceutical Executive, Medical Marketing and Media, Medical Care, The Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, The Journal of Psychology, Inquiry, the American Journal of Hospital Pharmacy, and Drug Intelligence and Clinical Pharmacy . In addition, Dr. Zelnio has made over 50 presentations to national professional organizations. He is also on the editorial board of The Journal of Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management. Dr. Zelnio completed a Ph.D. in the interdisciplinary field of Pharmacy Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill after having completed an MS in Pharmacy Administration and a BS in Pharmacy at the University of Iowa. His academic training and research was conducted in the areas of Pharmacy Administration, Marketing Research Methods, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, and Computer Science. Prior to joining Paragon in 1992, Ms. Phillips practiced marking research at all levels over a period of fifteen years with other organizations. Her experiences include project direction with responsibilities for the design, execution and analysis of custom quantitative and qualitative research; field management; direction of focus group facilities; and the development of research standards and practices and personnel training and management. Ms. Phillips received a B.A. in English from Villanova University after completing a two-year program in nursing. BRUCE W. COWGILL, M.B.A., Vice President, Quantitative Research Mr. Cowgill is responsible for all aspects of marketing research, client service, corporate management and business development. He specializes in conducting quantitative marketing research across various industries. His experience includes studies involved with new products/services, pricing, product positioning, segmentation, customer satisfaction, and advertising and promotion campaign evaluation. During his seven years of experience prior to joining Paragon in 1998, Mr. Cowgill served in senior account management, senior research management, and senior research associate positions. He has been responsible for account and project management within the consumer packaged goods industry, directing staff research professionals in the design and administration of research focusing on both the consumer and business-to-business markets. Mr. Cowgill earned his M.B.A. from the University of Rochester, with concentrations in marketing and finance. He also earned his B.B.A. in finance from the University of Georgia. STACEY
L. COWGILL, M.S., Director of Research Ms. Cowgill has experience programming with several statistical software packages, including SPSS, SAS, and StatPac Gold, as well as with a variety of database and cross-tabulation packages. Ms. Cowgill joined Paragon in 1995 with five years of experience in project management, including data processing and analysis of conjoint and discrete choice studies, utilizing such multivariate techniques as linear and non-linear modeling and perceptual mapping. Ms. Cowgill also served as staff statistician where she acted as in-house counsel to project management and data processing staff regarding survey research methods, sampling and appropriate statistical techniques. In addition, she performed all advanced statistical analysis and modeling, including linear and nonlinear regression, discriminant, factor and cluster analyses, and perceptual mapping. Ms. Cowgill earned her MS in applied statistics from Rochester Institute of Technology, where she specialized in statistical theory and methods. She received her BA in mathematics from State University of New York at Geneseo. SUSAN
L. CHORVAT, Senior Project Director
Prior to joining Paragon (in 1999), Ms. Chorvat worked in fundraising and development for the University of Chicago and the Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville, PA. Her responsibilities included service marketing, marketing to funding communities, and educational outreach. Ms. Chorvat has also taught and lived in China and Japan for a number of years. Ms. Chorvat received a Master's degree in international management (M.I.M.) from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management, where she focused her course work on the global pharmaceutical/health products industry. She holds a B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago.
Prior to joining Paragon (in 2001), Ms. Rocca's seven years of experience included medical writing and editing and program support and coordinator positions. In these positions she was responsible for a diverse range of writing, marketing, and research-related activities, including writing and editing clinical manuscripts for publication, developing medical educational materials, editing medical licensing exams, developing promotional and symposia materials, and writing press releases, to name a few. Ms. Rocca received Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in English from the University of Mississippi. She is an active member of the American Medical Writers Association. |
